Emma's Birthday!

Emma requested chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast, so her Daddy made us all delicious ones! She opened up all of her cards and enjoyed all the decor in the kitchen.
She was excited for school because she got to have a mini birthday party at snack time. Sterling took cupcakes to school at 10:15am and he and Emma buddy read a book to the class. If you are unfamiliar with buddy reading, it is when two people take turns reading pages of a book. Emma loves to buddy read. She especially loved having her Daddy at school with her.
I spent the whole morning and afternoon making more cupcakes for her big party, and making goody bags for all her friends, during Avery's naps.
After school it was time for the big event. Emma's birthday party was at a place called New York Party Zone! It is one of those inflatable jumping places. She invited her entire class from school, and some of her kindergarten church friends. She had a blast! She went rock climbing and jumping and sliding, and dancing! All of her friends had a wonderful time. She has really been blessed with such a sweet group of friends. I wish she could be with all of the same kids next year. We had a great time at the party and we had no idea that the partying was not over....stayed tuned for next post!
