Canada Bound!

We are very excited about our upcoming mission trip to Vancouver, Canada in July. Sterling and Madison have been planning to go, but I was going to stay home with Emma and Avery because I was worried about flying with Avery so early, plus it will cost a lot of money. I spoke to Avery's doctor yesterday and she said is was perfectly fine to fly with Avery in July, so I could let go of that fear. And well, I know my God shall supply all my needs, so that pretty much takes care of that worry! :)
So the Edwards family of 5 is going to Canada and we are thrilled! Two of our favorite people are Pastor Alan Braun and his wife Wanda. I met them many years ago when we went on mission trip to Penticton, British Columbia. They truly inspired me and spoke to my heart. Pastor Alan moved severeal years ago to Vancouver and Sterling caught up with him. After talking, Pastor Alan expressed great need for a group to come lead about 120 kids for vbs. He said they were fixing to cancel it because they could not find anyone to come. Sterling had to cancel the mission trip to Mexico because of recent events taking place there, so we also needed a place to go on mission. God knew all along he would bring us back together for His purpose. I am so excited! This is a great opportunity for me to trust in God, and trust Him with my fears concerning Avery, and even our finances. I know our family will be blessed beyond measure by the people of Royal Heights Baptist Church in Vancouver, Canada. Keep our trip in your prayers. We leave July 18 and return July 24! God is good!
