The most important day & decision of Emma's life took place on Saturday July 10, 2010, when she prayed to receive Jesus into her heart! She had been talking about this for about a year now, but we were not quite sure she was ready, especially to be baptised because she has never gone under the water before. She came to us on her own so sweetly and expressed her great desire to have Jesus in her heart and explained to us in her own precious words what that meant. She went on to tell us that it did not matter how afraid she was to go under water for the first time, because she was ready to be baptised. Words can not describe the joy we feel because there will never be a day or decision more important than that one! Emma was baptised on Sunday, July 11! Two other kids and 3 other adults were also baptised! It was an exciting day in the life of Crossroads and our family. Sterling's parents happened to be in town with my niece Edie, and we were happy to be able to share this special day with them!
